In honor of the original mountain bikers from Crested Butte and Marin County, CA, we present our very own Klunker Run Down Surface Creek Road into Cedaredge Colorado during the muddy season!

About the Event
We will take a shuttle from the Appleshed parking lot in Cedaredge at 11am up to the top of the mountain and begin at Grand Mesa Lodge. You may arrange your own ride to the Lodge as well and we will ensure you get a ride back to your vehicle after the ride. The ride starts at 12pm. This will allow some beer and pizza time and for others to show up late. The first stage begins around Island Lake to Baron Lake and then over to Alexander Lake before we descend Surface Creek Road - the second stage. The 3rd and final stage to town is all paved, but you'll likely welcome a smooth road by this time. No rider is left behind; we will wait for all riders at the end of each stage. Points are awarded to the first rider to finish each stage.

We are not allowed to charge for this event since we are riding on public lands. However, if you become a member of the Grand Mesa Outdoors Club for one day by donating to this cause, you'll be eligible for our post-ride give-away! No purchase necessary to sign up for the ride, but tickets are required.
