** UPDATE ** There is about 1/2 a mile to a mile of gravel between Payne Siding Road and 2600 Rd along North Road, but the only alternative route goes down Payne Siding to Hwy 92 and back up Trap Club Road and adds at least 10 miles to the route and we would have to cut out the high country part of the tour, which is really what makes it all worthwhile to ride. However, the gravel section is well packed and it is mostly downhill. Hopefully, by this time next year, the county will have it paved.
