In honor of the original mountain bikers from Crested Butte and Marin County, CA, we present our very own Klunker Run Down Old Grand Mesa Road into Cedaredge Colorado during Applefest!

About the Event
We will take a shuttle from the Appleshed parking lot in Cedaredge at 12pm up to the top of the mountain and begin at Grand Mesa Lodge. You may arrange your own ride to the Lodge as well and we will ensure you get a ride back to your vehicle after the ride. The ride starts at 2pm. This will allow some beer and pizza time and for others to show up late. The first stage begins around Island Lake to Baron Lake and then over to Alexander Lake before we descend Old Grand Mesa Road - the second stage. Old Grand Mesa Road crosses Hwy 65 and 2225 Road (Sweet Baby Jesus Head Rock Road) begins, which is the third, most technical, and bumpiest stage.
