Old Grand Mesa Road Klunker Downhill Race
This ride is a fun downhill run for Klunkers only! What's a klunker? In short... an old bike, usually single speed, with a coaster brake. There's a bit of Cross Country riding, downhill gravel, double track, and paved roads back to town.

About the Event
We start at the Grand Mesa Visitors Center. The first part is cross country riding for a mile or two unless you take the alternate route which adds about 5 more miles of cross country riding before you hit the downhill portion. We'll try to post signs so you don't get lost. Then the first stage is downhill gravel and ends at highway 65. Then we begin stage two on 2225 Road and cruise back to town. The ride takes a little over an hour. About 4000 feet of total descent over 17 miles, gravel, doubletrack, and paved routes.
